Fireplace maintenance for safe and efficient heating
Your fireplace needs maintenance like any other industrial product.
It is recommended by the manufacturers of fireplaces to perform maintenance at specific intervals in order to achieve safe operation as well as optimal performance.
The intervals at which maintenance must be carried out are as follows:
- Wood-fired heating stoves: Every 1-2 years depending on usage
- Pellet or gas heating stoves: Every year
The Dalico Company performs heating stove maintenance and furnace cleaning, as it does every year, before the start of the winter season.
