Energy-efficient roof window PTP V-U3 from FAKRO made of synthetic frame (PVC) which is the new technology in roof windows. It features a central pivot axis which allows the frame to rotate 180° making cleaning and maintenance easier. The frame is made of white PVC polythalamic frame reinforced internally with a metal core.This makes the window particularly durable with high resistance to moisture and corrosion.
Designed for areas with increased levels of humidity for long periods of time, FAKRO's PVC profile falls under class A, the highest according to European standard EN 12608. Externally the seals are made of aluminium coated with a polyester film with particular resistance to UV radiation and all weather conditions. The window frame can be left open in a number of positions allowing easy ventilation.The V35 ventilation slot integrated in the top of the frame allows ventilation even when the window is completely closed.
Equipped with U3 energy glass (Ug=1.1 W/m2K), double glazing (4H-16-4T) with toughened outer crystal (Toughened glass) for increased anti-glare protection for life. The innovative topSafe system (three-point security system) offers maximum security against tampering when the window is closed.
In addition to white, the profile is also available in imitation oak (golden oak) and fir (pine). For protection from the sun as well as for interior shading and decoration, FAKRO offers a wide range of accessories, both manual and electric, which can be easily fitted to any type of window. Suitable roof pitch for installation 15-55 degrees.
